Tourism has exploded in the area largely down to the fine dining experiences at MacNean House or the beautiful walks around the Cavan Geopark & the 'Stairway to Heaven’. The Erne waterway system is also just 6 miles away. With Lough MacNean less than a mile away from the property, there is plenty to enjoy in scenic West Cavan.

Getting around

While a car is an advisable mode of transport in the area, why not relax and enjoy some great local walks and trails in the area. Get out in the open air at The Cavan Burren Geopark which is just a short drive away, and other local walks are also available at the Marble Arch Caves and at the ‘Stairway to Heaven’.
