Golf
Blacklion is superbly located between a huge range of golf courses. Play links at Murvagh-Donegal golf club (45mins), the world renowned Lough Erne golf club (25mins away), or the PGA National Ireland course at the Slieve Russell hotel (30mins away). If you fancy a quick 9 holes, there is an excellent course in Blacklion, just a 3 minute drive from the house.
Cuilcagh Board Walk - ‘The Stairway to Heaven’
This local hiking attraction has earned rave reviews over the past number of years with a huge spike in visitors over the last number of years. With spectacular views of a number of counties in both Ulster and Connacht including Sligo and Donegal. This walk is a ‘must do’ when visiting the area.

The area is perfect for exploration via bike. Most of the main sites can be easily cycled to and some you can even use your bikes at. Blacklion and the surrounding area has stunning views and you will never be far from the next one!

Cavan Burren Park - Geopark
The stunning walks and trails in the Cavan Burren park are bringing visitors from all around the world to Blacklion. On a clear day you can see 5 counties! There are a variety of walks to do, varying from easy to longer more hilly walks.
There are numerous sites to visit across the Geopark, from waterfalls and abbeys to mountains boardwalks and forests trails.
